8.5.08 Thanks to People's Productions for another GREAT year at Reggae Rising, and to all our fans that helped make our set so magical! Send us your pics of our set and we will post them online. Off to Oregon for Northwest Reggae Festival this weekend. With the Summer Festivals in hi-swing, our schedule of shows is keeping us busy let alone us putting the finishing touches on our new album Better World coming soon. Last weekend we had a lot of inquiries regarding our full length album and when the release date will be. We hope to have an official release date very soon, as well as plan to post some sneak previews of some of the tracks on our site.

6.21.08 Bay Area Benefits set up for DJ Robert Rankin starting with Santa Cruz @ Moe's Alley on June 29th. We are sending out love and prayers for a quick recovery to our friend and local dj, ROBERT RANKIN'. Robert is currently hospitalized and needs our support through his long recovery. A series of benefits have been set up in the Bay Area, starting on June 29th at Moe's Alley in Santa Cruz, CA on June 29th. Other benefits include the Vodoo lounge in San Jose on July 1st, The Shattuck Downlow in Berkeley on July 15th, and Pier 23 in San Francisco on July 28th. Including Soul Majestic, many other artists and DJ's are donating their time to help raise money and healing vibrations for Robert's recovery. Read More about Robert Rankin. 6.16.08 Thank you Santa Barbara for another great weekend! On Saturday June 14th Soul Majestic performed both at the Live Oak Festival during the day and then again that night at SOhO. The Live Oak festival was jumping with enthusiastic festival goers and the backstage hospitality was all time. That night at SOhO we had everyone from our consistent SB fans to a wedding party, to UCSB graduates. Even Matt McCallister (previous host for KTYD's morning show) showed up. Thanks to KTYD for the interview on Friday and to Hempwise for sponsoring the SOhO show. |
